Organic Eucalyptus Hydrosol

Description

Like the oil, eucalyptus hydrosol is the first line of defence against respiratory problems and infections, coughs, colds chest infections and hay-fever allergies. It makes a good gargle, mouthwash or cough sirup.
At the onset of a cold or flu, take one teaspoon of hydrosol in a small amount of water every two hours on the first day that symptoms appear.
Eucalyptus is famous for its antiseptic, antibiotic, antiviral and germicidal properties, and it is thought to be the most powerful disinfectant in its class. Therefore this hydrosol spray is perfect for cleaning. Use it on your kitchen bench tops, clean, disinfect and deodorise your rubbish bins. Or have a small spray bottle handy in the car for those sticky kids hands. The possibilities are endless.

Note: Avoid undiluted topical or internal use for children under three years.

What are hydrosols?
A hydrosol is the water that is left over when plants are steam-distilled to release their essential oils. Hydrosols contain traces of the essential oil as well as other plant components that are only water-soluble. This makes hydrosols very special, a unique product that can’t be manufactured synthetically.
Hydrosols can be used 100% pure, as a face mist, pillow mist, added to skin care products (replacing destilled water), room refresher. You can even drink hydrosols (diluted) or add it to your cooking.
Hydrosols contain the same plant properties as the essential oil, so can be used for the same applications.
