Organic Chamomile Hydrosol

Description

Roman Chamomile Hydrosol is soothing and relaxing. It is anti-inflammatory, skin calming and astringent.
Fantastic for most skin types, relaxing and calming for skin disorders including eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, burns and rashes.
It is very nice and calming for Babies and an excellent bum spritz during diaper changes.
Applications:

– Use as an internal eyewash for conjunctivitis, dry, tired, irritated or red eyes
– use in a compress with a drop of lavender for migraines
– use for pets in the car, for trauma, stress, vet visits, teething puppies
– mix with cosmetic clay to produce a clay facial mask
– can replace water in lotions or cosmetic recipes
– use as a linen spray with just a spritz on a pillow or bed linen

What are hydrosols?
A hydrosol is the water that is left over when plants are steam-distilled to release their essential oils. Hydrosols contain traces of the essential oil as well as other plant components that are only water-soluble. This makes hydrosols very special, a unique product that can’t be manufactured synthetically.
Hydrosols can be used 100% pure, as a face mist, pillow mist, added to skin care products (replacing destilled water), room refresher. You can even drink hydrosols (diluted) or add it to your cooking.
Hydrosols contain the same plant properties as the essential oil, so can be used for the same applications.
