Baby Wrap versus babies sleeping bag
Being a new mum you are probably wondering what would be better for your little one, a Baby wrap or a Babies sleeping bag.
Of course you would like your Baby to be comfortable and sleep through the night. From my experience this is what works best:
Have your Baby wrapped for the night from birth until about 6 month of age. Being wrapped has one big advantage, your Baby feels more comfortable by being wrapped tight, this is close to the environment she had in your womb. Having to much moving opportunity frightens your baby and results in restless sleep and wake ups. Remember, you wouldn’t feel comfortable when you are pushed into a totally new environment where everything is different to what you have known so far.
After your Baby is about 6 month old she will have outgrown the Baby wrap and you can change to a Babies sleeping bag. There are many different types and sizes on the market so make sure you start with the right size sleeping bag. If the babies sleeping bag is too big your baby could slip inside the sleeping bag.
Here is a link for a nice Bamboo Babies sleeping bag which can be used from around 9 month onwards. Bamboo Sleeping bag.
